Amabilidad is Founder-led by Orla Ryan. Orla works on all Client projects either, delivering directly or, with oversight of hand-selected experts who may bring, for example, specific regulatory knowledge or certification as required
Clients know exactly what they want to achieve and, for the most part, how they are going to get there. They come to Amabilidad to help source grants and funding, to work together on mapping out a target operating model or to support with market research and the size of a business opportunity.
The business relationship is collaborative but, it is also designed to challenge. Founders, CX and operations teams are pushed to think strategically about what they're building and why.
Orla walks it through. Taking the client along the journey, step by step, because the context behind the idea is everything. What makes them different? What is the competitive advantage that will win the bid? How do we bring together the value proposition that secures funding? Clients do know this instinctively but need the help to build, document and evangelise their idea.
Amabilidad began taking shape in 2021. First out of necessity following the global pandemic in 2020. But always with a simple conviction in mind, that businesses with real ideas and real ambition deserved access to senior expertise without the smoke and mirrors that so often come with consulting.
For three years I delivered for clients, refining the model and proving the concept.
There comes a point in many careers when the traditional system simply stops working. Not because your value has diminished. Because the system has its limitations. Like many, I experienced this first-hand.As a result, the decision was made to go all-in on Amabilidad and by October 2024 I had committed fully. The market responded immediately. Micro and small businesses wanted what Amabilidad offered. Not a firm. Not a framework. A person. Experienced, invested, and genuinely on their side.
In 2025, I made a second pivotal decision to expand our offering to include Market-Entry and Governance services with a focus on the 6 Gulf Countries. Amabilidad has been on-the-ground in both Qatar and the UAE during Q1 and Q2 of 2026, bringing that vision to life.
I was once told by a senior colleague that I boil the ocean. That I go into too much detail, try to fit too much in. I've never entirely disagreed. I believe that when your name is on the work, it should mean something. When a Client trusts you with their idea, no stone should be left unturned.

25% of the work delivered by Amabilidad includes market research and approximately 22% a strategic review.
There is a logic to this. Experience shows that almost all projects benefit from thorough market research and expansive strategic thinking. Equally important is sourcing the best-fit data plus, leveraging the AI advantage.
The ~22% strategic reviews also makes sense. While the objective may be to apply for a grant, or respond to a tender, the value proposition, competitive advantage, market position and fully commercials will benefit from a collaborative review before framing to be a winning proposal.
