Over 2 months, Oct-Nov 2025, we collaborated with the award winning Polish / Canadian literary artist, Dagmara Sitek. Working with a baseline of 3 social impact literary pieces, we built out the artist's portfolio to include works: The Compassion Lab, The Art of Connection, International Tour in 2026, all centred around compassion in youth. Rising Canada (2025) reports;“An overwhelming majority of young Canadians, 71% of youth between the ages of 12-17, reported experiencing some form of bullying". For this project, we began with desk research, exploring the role of the Council's CA$284M budget and the landscape of fundable art. We listened. Asked open questions. Seeded ideas. And, over time we were able to support our client in creating 3 grant proposals that truly represented her artistic journey. We prepared and submitted reports including; proposed activities, timelines and use-of-funds, In addition to research and validation of the proposed submissions, totalling ~CA$150k, the scope of the project extended to execution planning, specifically the roll-out of the multi-country International Tour 2026.

4. BUSINESS PLAN

When crafting your business plan (because it is a craft), our advice to you is not to go beyond three years. Anything longer is blue-sky thinking. Go in "Lean". Make lean your mantra. Consider a pilot or a soft launch phase. The growth curve will be gradual meaning it's smart and achievable. No hockey sticks here. When we co-create your Business Plan with you it will be a living breathing document. You will have scope to update as you progress because goalposts move and targets change. Always leave room in your Business Plan for timely pivots. People who believe in your idea will go through every data point in your Business Plan. They will run their own calculations and challenge your assumptions. You have to be prepared.

5. MARKET RESEARCH

Don't skip to the the good stuff, do the research. The "thinking" process in all of our work for you is underrated yet absolutely essential. You wouldn't build a house without laying the foundations. We bring a super power to your project. We know how to conduct research and we know where to look for qualitative insights and quantative data. Give some thought to what you will do with the research findings. How will they add value to your project outcomes. We want to avoid providing you with a snapshot in the time that is no longer of value once read. "Actionable insights" is not a buzz word for us, it is how we will measure the successful impact of our research on your project.

6. PROJECT MANAGEMENT

The Project Managers who will ensure the successful delivery of your project are relentless. They are qualified committed professionals and will leave no stone unturned. Your project may be about a product, a service or a process but the one common denominator will be your people. Our project managers get that and are skilled at bringing your people on the journey. You might not see us use the classic project management tools as you are likely too busy to care but, rest assured, we use the frameworks and structures. We are methodical in our approach. We are here for the change and not the BAU. You don't want us in your business for the long term because it would mean we have not done our job.

Securing a BYD authorised dealership can be challenging, especially for small island states, requiring significant capital investment to ensure "on brand" service delivery. The opportunity was evident with a 28% year on year uplift in vehicle imports in 2024 including a 49% rise in EV and Hybrid vehicles. The economy was forecast to grow by 4.9% with the main sector, tourism experiencing record growth of ~13%. Our client seeded the idea of a container style showroom to keep within budget. We doubled-down on the idea and developed the BYD MicroHub. At the core a sleek modular container based showroom, positioned on an existing site, while maintaining BYD’s brand integrity and design ethos. Building on this concept, we researched and prepared the Business Plan for the regional BYD distribution partner in Jamaica, positioning it as a low entry, minimal-risk lean pilot.  The client was open to creative suggestions for this project and together we delivered the first of it's kind; the BYD Microhub.

SPRINT PROJECT

icons8-runner-100.png

HOW WE HELP.

It helps your business to think of the project as either Sprint or Anchor. The nature of Sprint is an agile, expedited delivery of work. The end-to-end scope has been identified and milestones agreed. While there is room to pivot, there is typically less ambiguity about the output and desired outcomes. Examples are grant applications, donor funding, investment pitch decks. The assumption is that the business strategy and value proposition is reasonably well defined.

HOW LONG IT TAKES.

The optimum time for a Sprint project as described is 2 weeks.  Deliverables can be met in 10 days, however this is often rushed and you would be encouraged to consider whether it is worth submitting, for example a grant application, as likelihood of success may be reduced. All projects benefit from a scoping exercise, market research and in the case of Sprint work - lite strategic review within agreed scope.

ANCHOR PROJECT

icons8-anchor-100 (1).png

HOW WE HELP.

An Anchor project describes a long-term engagement. A project where Amabilidad works together with you, your business and where applicable, your team on a multi workstream deliverable. For example a Market-Entry or Governance project which consist of multiple components, often delivered sequentially.

HOW LONG IT TAKES.

Once the scope of the Anchor project is agreed, the timelines for delivery are set. Example of a Governance project delivery is 2 months with an initial Sprint of 2 weeks for key elements. While standardised frameworks can be tailored to your industry sector, the real value lies in the time spent understanding the nuances of the market and how your business value proposition fits. A Statement of Work is agreed, before the project begins that includes scope for you business to pivot, pause or cancel an Anchor project, should business needs change.
