DELIVERED FOR THE CLIENT

In collaboration with our client Montrose Investment Holdings, we led a month-long bid management process in response to a US $20 million invitation to tender issued by the Government of Trinidad and Tobago. The tender called for the supply of 200,000 tonnes of aggregates to support Trinidad’s ongoing air and road infrastructure development. To effectively manage a bid of this size, we put in place a series of tools including a project work plan, shared collaboratively with the team. Working closely with our client, we contracted more than five partners across the supply chain including Grassalco and DP World. In writing the technical proposal, we designed a phased delivery model across 150 days, from the quarry, through laboratory testing, ocean and road transport to stockpile. The tender submission required a detailed GANTT showing timelines for stone blasting, crushing, quality control, transport and discharge. The financial proposal required extensive detailed modelling, taking into consideration all costs, contigencies and margins. This bid process was challenging and made possible only by the collaborative efforts of the Montrose team.
