Every September the World Trade Organisation in Geneva, Switzerland opens its doors to the public plus the private sector for two days of wall-to-wall debates, panels and exchanges with some of the most informed, sharpest (and sometimes most controversial) minds in global trade. Amabilidad was grateful for the opportunity to represent our client Montrose, including meeting with Barbados Ambassador to the United Nations and the WTO, Matthew Wilson. In supporting our client we presented a 3-part proposal for representation that incuded: 1. Raise Awareness of the Montrose mission. 2. Public Relations for the Montrose brand 3. Understand how evolving digital trade trends may impact Montrose' air and martime projects. We closed the project with a summary of recommendations, a list of relevant contacts for follow-up, and social media posts showcasing Montrose’s attendance, the valuable relationships built, and the insights gained.

As part of the UK £150 million long-term financing partnership, the SVG delegation hosted its inaugural Trade & Investment roadshow at the UK Foreign Office, London. The investment discussion was broad reaching with a focus on logistics and infrastructure, tourism and the environment. We were privileged to represent Montrose’s investment interests with key private and public sector stakeholders. At time of writing Nigeria's Foreign Direct Investment had experienced increasing inflows to, US $103 million - Q3, 2024. Working with AICL, the investment arm of Abuja’s FCT we identified the 10 sectors, 5 subsidiaries and 4 affiliates. Together we developed the investment narrative to include infrastructure, mass transport, agriculture, renewable energy. From the outset we focused on Abuja's competitive advantage at the centre of Africa's most influential economy, Nigeria. A substantial time investment was made in scoping out the wider Nigeria landscape including applying a PESTLE. We positioned key messages including over US $1.8 billion invested to date in the expansion of Abuja's air and rail links. Stage 2 of the Project saw the introduction and promotion of the AIIIF in London to the investor network. Working methodically, we identified five investor categories ranging from VC to sovereign wealth. By following a structured contact plan, we engaged attendee investors for follow-up by the London team, ensuring a successful event.

Over an eight-month engagement, Amabilidad worked alongside Caribbean partners to help shape a US $5M aviation expansion proposition. Amabilidad reviewed the commercial business case, presenting a risk analysis in relation to the expansion of helicopter services from Grenada into Saint Vincent and the Grenadines. Representing Montrose Investment Holdings, we collaborated closely with the aviation operator, Dowden Aviation, to validate operational assumptions, strengthen the core proposition, and refine the commercial opportunity. Compiled a comprehensive investor pack designed to accelerate capital-raising activities, participating directly in strategic discussions with prospective funding partners. In support of our client's ambitions we mapped out a local service model for consideration. Proposing a structured local-management and equity framework to govern the proposed operation in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines. Drafted the formal Memorandum of Understanding to define the collaborative parameters between the local operating partner and the aviation provider. Maintained continuous commercial and strategic oversight, remaining "on standby" in support of our client as negotiations progressed.

Employing extensive Market Research tools we looked at Ireland's role in the European Green Deal. Ireland is committed to a 51% reduction in emissions by 2030 and carbon neutrality by 2050. The National Energy and Climate Plan (NECP) sets a target for 80% renewable electricity generation by 2030. Our Client offers the key linked services of Domestic BER Assessments plus Agriculture TAMS 3 Solar solutions. We were tasked with positioning the business to participate in competitive tenders as they continue to be issued in line with environmental goals. We worked with the client to identify competitive advantage and expand the service offering in the run up to 2030. This included a scoping exercise of competitor activity and benchmarked pricing models. As the business builds on success and scales further, we identified a target obtainable market supported by regional "quick wins" and community outreach.
